| Job Management System A system to allow busy business managers to track the progress of their jobs. Originally developed for the electrical contracting industry, this system can be easily adapted to virtually any market sector that needs control and visibility over a number of simultaneous projects. The system is simple to use; it uses the familiar web browser and allows display and entry of customer and job details, as well as allowing time and cost bookings to be entered, thereby allowing the user to track cost-to-date on a per-job basis. In addition, it provides lists of jobs, customers or jobs for a specific customer, all of which can be filtered according to job status or a range of statuses. The system is customisable; it can easily be configured with your corporate name, logo and colour scheme.The system is scalable; being server-based, it can be used on a standalone PC or from a network or web server, and can cater for virtually unlimited numbers of users. The system is secure; it uses digest authentication, which means that passwords are encrypted before being sent from the browser, and access is denied if the username or password are incorrect. The system is extensible; because it's modular, additional modules can easily be developed to allow, for example, integration with accounting packages or synchronisation with e-mail systems. The system is versatile; it can readily be adapted to accommodate virtually any market that needs to control or visualise the status of multiple simultaneous projects.
